One lost opportunity I see often is a website with no clear Call to Action (CTA). Visitors come and go without leaving a trace, because they have not been given an action to take.
People tend to have short attention spans, so giving them clear guidance on what steps to take next is key to keeping them on your website and gaining their trust… and ultimately their business.
Which actions will drive the most business your way, long term?
These are the most powerful CTAs you can include on your website. Which will you try? Take 5 minutes to decide which will make the most impact financially for your business.
Email list: Growing your email list is essential to creating a profitable business. Encourage visitors to your homepage to give you their email address by offering something in return, like a downloadable PDF. Keep in mind that social media platforms may come and go, but your email list is yours forever.
Book a call: Place a “Book a Call” button in the top right corner of your website’s navigation area to make it easy to get on your calendar. The button can link directly to your calendar tool or to your Contact page.
Learn more: Guide visitors toward the information they need to make the decision to work with you. Offer links from your homepage to other pages of your website, and connect pages with related content via links within the copy. An example of this is right here at the bottom of this post!
